Bathroom TV turns from red to green but no picture

Bathroom TV turns from red to green but no picture

If your bathroom TV's indicator light on the front turns from red to green but then no picture appears on the screen, then it is likely not receiving necessary power.

Below are the steps in our troubleshoot programme to resolve the issue.
  1. Check transformer (and replace if necessary)
We recommend checking the small indicator light on the 12v transformer/power supply.
If it is flickering then this part could be faulty. We recommend you contact us on customerservice@proofvision.co.uk to report this issue and request a replacement transformer under warranty.
If the light is solid green, move on to option 2.

  2. Remove any extension cables between the transformer and TV
If the light on the transformer indicator light is a solid green light, there could be an issue if there is an extension cable between the transformer and TV.
We recommend disconnecting this and trying the TV directly into the transformer to see if the screen turns on sucesfully.
If the screen turns on, then this would suggest a fault with the extension lead or it is too long.
If you have attempted all of the above troubleshoot steps and the issue is not resolved, please contact our Technical department on 0203 4111 693 (opt 3) or technical@proofvision.co.uk for further assistance.

For any TVs that are out of warranty, replacement parts will need to be purchased.
