Bathroom TV is stuck on red light?

Bathroom TV is stuck on red light?

If your bathroom TV is stuck on the red light, it means that it is in standby.

There may be multiple reasons for this, below are the steps in our troubleshoot programme to resolve the issue.
  1. Check transformer (and replace if necessary)
If you have easy access to the 12v transformer/power supply, we recommend checking the small indicator light on this.
If it is flickering, then we recommend you contact us on customerservice@proofvision.co.uk to report this issue and request a replacement transformer under warranty.
If you do NOT have easy access to the transformer, we recommend you go directly to point 2 below.

  2. Change the batteries in the remote control
Using the remote control is the only method of controlling the TV (without RS232) so it is likely to be an issue with the remote control.
We recommend that you try a new battery in the remote. The correct battery is a 3v, CR2032 battery.

  3. Replace the remote control
If a new battery does not resolve, then it is most likely a defective remote control which can be replaced if the TV is within the original warranty period.
To arrange a replacement remote control under warranty, please send an email with a photo of the required remote, proof of purchase and address to customerservice@proofvision.co.uk
If you have attempted all of the above troubleshoot steps and the issue is not resolved, please contact our Technical department on 0203 4111 693 (opt 3) or technical@proofvision.co.uk for further assistance.

For any TVs that are out of warranty, replacement parts will need to be purchased.
