Do I need to run an earth to the TBCharge?

Yes, earthing is required due to the install environment to meet regulations. There are 2 ways of doing this:

  1. Run the earth to the wiring block (PV10P & PV11P)
    On the PV10P & PV11P models, the wiring block has an earth input to run the earth wire into.
    The PV12P model does not and must follow option 2.

  2. Run the earth to the knockout box
    All knockout boxes will have an earth block which the cable is run into. All of the charger models have an earth tag on the top screw hole location which the metal screw will conduct to the charger unit.
