ProofVision TVs do have built-in speakers so external speakers are not critical to having sound come from the TV. 

They are a pair of hidden 5w vibration speakers, so the sound will come through the front glass screen. This solution is ideal as it gives the user clear sound with no possible entry point for water or moisture.
