Bathroom TV wiring guidance
ProofVision bathroom TVs are supplied with a 240v IEC lead and 12v DC transformer, the total length is around 1.8m.
There are 2 ways of connecting the bathroom TV to the power:
- Existing socket
You can run the 240v IEC lead and plug in to a 3-pin plug socket.
This needs to be outside the bathroom, so its recommended the socket is either in a loft-space or another room for access.
If you require a longer power lead, see advice here: https://proofvision.zohodesk.eu/portal/en/kb/articles/can-i-extend-the-power-cable-length-for-my-bathroom-tv
- Lighting circuit
The plug end can be removed and wired into the lighting circuit.
We recommend that all electrical work is carried out by a qualified electrician or authorised installer competent with electrics.
